The “Rhizome. Archaica” project is a reimagining of Ukrainian daily life through the lens of modern eco-design. These objects are crafted from an unconventional material — dried wheat roots. The shape of each bowl references authentic ancient tableware, bringing us back to the origins of folk craft. This work is about searching for meaning within the very soil: the combination of traditional imagery and an experimental approach to materials transforms a utilitarian object into a profound artistic statement about roots and continuity.
